Accreditation
Accredited members are encouraged to help out with this committee, which facilitates study sessions for candidates taking the APR exam. Online mentoring opportunities are also available.
Copper Anvil Awards Committee
This committee plans one of the chapter’s largest events of the year – the Copper Anvil awards banquet in the fall of each year. Help plan this celebration, coordinate the awards process and raise funds for student scholarships.
Digital Communications
This committee manages the chapter’s website, bi-monthly newsletter E-Talk and social media accounts. Help provide online content or manage the Facebook, Twitter and/or LinkedIn pages for the local organization.
Job Board Coordinator
The job board coordinator registers new subscribers, maintains the job database and manages the chapter’s job board.
Membership Cluster
This cluster recruits and retains members. Tasks include reaching out to potential PRSA members, communicating the advantages of local chapter membership to PRSA members and helping with hospitality efforts at PRSA events.
Masters Section
The Masters Professional Interest Section caters to seasoned public relations and communication professionals with more than 15 years of experience. Our distinguished members bring a wealth of diverse career experiences, offering unique perspectives, varied responsibilities and specific needs. If you align with this level of professional accomplishment, we invite you to join us. Explore opportunities to connect, network and delve into discussions on pertinent topics such as public relations, leadership skills and timely industry issues. Engage with your peers who share a similar depth of experience in the field.
Retention
As a function of the membership cluster, the volunteers on the retention committee are responsible for calling a list of assigned members slated to be up for renewal within 5 to 6 months to check in on their overall satisfaction.

Partnerships for PRSA
Each year, PRSA plans to develop strong partnerships with Valley businesses, agencies and consultants. Help develop these partnerships create best-in-class networking between our membership base and local companies.
