Julie S. Kurth

Knowledge Enterprise Marketing, Arizona State University

Julie Kurth, MS, APR, is assistant director of marketing in Strategic Marketing and Communications at Arizona State University’s Knowledge Enterprise. In this role, she leads marketing strategy for the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory, which is a model of a university designed for the future of our planet. 

From 2006 to 2025, Julie led marketing and communications for the Biodesign Institute, ASU’s premiere scientific innovation hub advancing health and sustainability. Julie brings deep experience from across industry, nonprofit and corporate settings in strategic communications, marketing and public relations. Before joining ASU, she served as senior corporate communications analyst at Caremark (now CVS Health). Earlier, Julie served as a public affairs supervisor at State Farm Insurance, and she began her career as director of fundraising and public relations at NEWhouse, a women’s shelter in Kansas City, Missouri.

Julie holds a master of science in technical communication and writing from Arizona State University and a bachelor of science in public relations from Northwest Missouri State University. She is accredited in public relations (APR).

Rachel Ann Dickman, MBA

RMG Communications

Rachel Dickman, MBA, APR, the Founder and CEO of RMG Communications, is a nationally recognized leader in public relations and communications. With over two decades of experience, she masterfully blends creativity with strategy to deliver award-winning campaigns that resonate deeply and drive impact. At RMG, Rachel has notably worked with numerous public-sector and non-profit clients, earning her firm prestigious awards for their creativity and effectiveness, including "Best in Show" from PRSA-Inland Empire Chapter and CAPIO and a PRSA National Bronze Anvil.

Beyond her work at RMG, Rachel extends her influence through her co-hosted, award-winning podcast, "PRessing On in Public Relations," alongside her friend and business partner, Liselle DeGrave, APR. They also co-authored the prize-winning book "A Practical Guide to Starting Your Own PR Firm," an essential resource for those looking to navigate the intricacies of launching their own PR agency.

Her contributions to the field have been recognized with significant honors, including the Paul B. Clark Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2016 Communicator of the Year Award from the California Association of Public Information Officials.

Savannah Harrelson Driskill

City of Tempe

Savannah Driskill is a Public Information Officer for the City of Tempe. A graduate of ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Savannah has served on the PRSA Phoenix board since 2020. Her previous roles include Public Relations Manager for the national nonprofit Childhelp and a publicist for authors. Savannah greatly enjoys working in the public sector and using an assortment of tactics to reach the community. When not at work, she’s usually checking out concerts and partaking in the local food and beverage scene.

Marcia P. Brookey

Marcia Paterman Brookey, APR, has nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, journalism and marketing. After completing her master’s in communications, she earned Accreditation in Public Relations in 2017 with support from her mentors and inspiration by her role models in public relations — Lauren Brookey, Christopher Payne, Kristen Turley, and Steve Turnbo, among others. Brookey has accumulated experience as in-house corporate communications officer. She currently serves as Global Oracle Alliance Marketing at PwC.

I’m a public relations professional with more than 15 years of experience advancing corporate reputation, stakeholder trust, and media visibility for global organizations in highly regulated, innovation-driven industries. My expertise lies in translating complex scientific and technical topics into clear, compelling narratives that build community confidence, engage employees, and strengthen brand equity. As an Accredited Public Relations (APR) practitioner, I apply a strategic and data-driven approach to communications planning and decision-making—grounded in research, measurable outcomes, and alignment with business objectives. I bring proven experience in media relations, issues management, and cross-functional collaboration across government, operations, and communications teams. Based in Phoenix, I’m passionate about supporting Arizona’s growing advanced-manufacturing and healthcare ecosystem and helping organizations communicate their impact with clarity, credibility, and purpose.

Madeleine Williamson

Madeleine is a Public Relations Executive at 10 to 1 PR. In her role, she specializes in serving B2B companies in technology, construction, and AI industries. Madeleine actively ensures the success of PR campaigns and works collaboratively with team members. She is exceptional at building and maintaining relationships with media contacts and outlets. She exhibits strong interpersonal skills which she uses to engage clients and maintain relationships. Madeleine is an active networker and relationship maintainer who is often able to leverage connections by identifying opportunities that result in earned coverage for media campaigns. She demonstrates timeliness and confidence in verbal and written communication. She works to ensure that she contributes to a supportive team environment by proactively managing assignments and consistently bringing fresh ideas to projects. She prioritizes delivering timely and relevant deliverables for clients that support bigger-picture goals and strategies.

Constance Halonen-Wilson

Town of Queen Creek

Constance Halonen-Wilson serves as the Communications & Marketing Manager for the Town of Queen Creek. With more than 15 years in municipal and non-profit communications, Constance has worked in specialized fields including law enforcement and domestic violence in addition to general municipal communications. Constance holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Knox College, a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University. Constance loves spending time with her family, especially her two daughters, and enjoying the outdoors through running, hiking or fun at the park.

Rachael Clifford

10 to 1 Public Relations

Rachael is a senior PR executive at 10 to 1 Public Relations and is the membership committee chair for PRSA Phoenix.  She also served as the professional development co-chair and won PRSA Phoenix's Cooper Anvil for the 2022 Up and Comer. She has always loved writing, solving puzzles on a team and finding creative ways to tell stories. When she isn't securing media wins for her clients, Rachael can be found hiking, knitting and baking.

Amy L. Wolff

Amy Wolff, Independent PR Contractor

With more than 25 years of professional experience, Amy Wolff is an expert in public relations, writing, and employee and executive communications. She has worked with high-profile clients including Honeywell Aerospace, The Phoenix Theatre Company, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Valleywise Health Foundation, Outlets North Phoenix and Array Technologies. She has also collaborated on projects for FOX-10 television, Seton Preparatory High School and SUBWAY Restaurants, as well as several authors, fitness professionals and educational speakers.

Amy earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and received an Award of Merit from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for her work with AAA Arizona in Internal Communications. She currently serves as the Vice President of Membership for the National Charity League and is excited to start her tenure on the Board of Directors with PRSA in Phoenix.

Ashley Patton

City of Phoenix

Ashley Patton currently serves as the Deputy Communications Director for the City of Phoenix, AZ. She began at the organization in 2019 as a Public Information Officer (PIO) and has held positions including Senior PIO and Special Projects Administrator as well, leveraging her talents in public and community relations, social and digital media, and more to maximize resident and media engagement on important municipal initiatives.

Prior to Phoenix, Ashley was the Events and Community Engagement Manager for Visit KC, the greater Kansas City Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. She was recognized as part of Destinations International’s 30 Under 30 Class in 2018 for excellence in destination marketing. Ashley also taught public speaking courses at the University of Central Missouri.

Ashley is a first generation college graduate, holding an M.A. in Communication from the University of Central Missouri, and dual undergraduate degrees from Arizona State University in Political Science and Communication. Born and raised in Phoenix, in her spare time, Ashley enjoys spoiling her two dogs and practicing yoga.

Justin Liggin

HMA Public Relations

Justin Liggin is an account executive at HMA Public Relations and has been a member of the team since 2020. His responsibilities include media relations on behalf of agency clients, digital communications, content creation, social media management, graphic design and more.

Liggin is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and currently serves as the 2026 digital communications board chair for the PRSA Phoenix chapter, where he leads in managing the chapter’s website, blog, newsletter and social media accounts. He also serves on the PRSA Phoenix professional development and Copper Anvils committees.

In 2021, graduated from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in digital audiences. Liggin also graduated with a certificate in marketing and sales from the W.P. Carey School of Business.
